A man was struck and killed by a police cruiser in Chester City Wednesday night. Now the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the crash.
A police vehicle struck and killed a man in Chester City Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old man was riding a bike on Keystone Road and West 13th Street around 9 p.m. when he was hit by a Chester Police cruiser passing by, according to investigators. The victim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has not yet been identified. The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident.
