Charges dropped against one of the teens charged in deadly traffic cone beating

A judge is dismissing murder charges against one of two teenagers accused of beating a man to death with a traffic cone. Surveillance video of the incident that took place in June 2022 shows the moments a group of juveniles attacked the victim, 73-year-old James Lambert. Two 14-years-old were arrested, but a judge ruled there was not enough evidence against Richard Jones, now 16. The DA’s office said it will appeal.
