Caught on Cam: Blind Man Stomped, Kicked on Street in Broad Daylight

Do you know this man? He’s wanted for the brutal beating of a blind man on a Germantown street in the beginning of the month. The beating was caught on tape by city surveillance cameras.

Police are seeking help from the public in finding the man who they say assaulted a blind man on a Philadelphia street earlier this month, an attack that was captured by surveillance camera.

Officials say the camera on a Germantown street corner captured video of the Oct. 2 aggravated assault on the 33-year-old man, as well as at least three people who witnessed it but didn't attempt to intervene.

Police say the blind man was walking down the street just after noon when another man approached and struck him, knocking him to the ground.

Detectives say the suspect then proceeded to kick and stomp the victim, injuring his face and head "as he lay helpless on the ground." thesuspect then fled on foot.

Later Thursday, police identified the suspect as Mustafa Guyton, 29, of the 300 block of W Logan Street. He is wanted for aggravated assult.

Police are asking the public to watch the video and call detectives if they spot the suspect.
