A Camden man is in jail after he allegedly stabbed the mother of his children to death, according to police.
It happened Friday night around 11:10p.m. in the 400 block of Boyd Street. Investigators say Julio Martinez broke into the apartment of 22-year-old Sophia Ortiz and stabbed her with a knife. Police say
Ortiz was hiding in a bedroom when she was attacked. Police say she died about three hours later while in surgery at Cooper Hospital.
Martinez has been charged with murder.
