4 Arrested for Cab Driver Attack

Throat slashed during a violent robbery

Cab driver Joseph Dominguez, was attacked and robbed after picking up four passengers in Mt. Laurel N.J. early Monday morning police said.

Four suspects were arrested Monday in the violent robbery and attack of a South Jersey cab driver.

Joseph Dominguez, 20, was attacked around 3 a.m. after picking up four passengers on Forrest Court in Mt. Laurel, police said. He was robbed and his throat was cut during the attack, according to police.

Dominguez went to a nearby home to get help and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He had surgery and was in critical condition on Monday afternoon.

Two men, a woman and a juvenile male have each been charged with attempted murder, robbery and carjacking.

The robbery yielded $40 for the defendants, said authorities.
