Police Department in South Jersey Goes ‘Pink' For a Good Cause

Starting Thursday, a South Jersey police department will "Go Pink" to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Westampton Township Police Department has issued specially designed uniform hats and vest patches to its officers to wear as part of their official uniform during the month of October.

In addition, all marked patrol vehicles will display the nationally recognized Breast Cancer pink ribbon.

The exterior of the Westampton Township Police Department will also be lit up pink.

The department said while performing their normal patrol duties and functions, officers will be raising awareness and showing support to those affected by breast cancer.
