There were two separate shootings outside the McGeehan’s Rock Bottom Bar in Northeast Philadelphia. One gunman is in custody, while the other remains on the loose.
An angry boyfriend returned to a Northeast Philadelphia bar after an argument with his girlfriend and fired his gun, shooting another customer early Saturday morning.
The couple were arguing at McGeehan's Rock Bottom, located at 4401 Cottman Ave. around midnight, leading the boyfriend to leave the bar only to return moments later with a gun, police said.
It is unclear if the 23-year-old victim knew the shooter.
The suspect turned himself into authorities several hours after the shooting occurred.
As responding officers investigated what occurred at McGeehan's, another man arrived on the scene and fired a shot in an unrelated incident, authorities said.
Police took the second shooter into custody.
