Atlantic City Police Officer Injured in Crash

Atlantic City Police Officer Rebecca Seabrook was treated for head, neck and knee injuries after a car hit her patrol car.

An Atlantic City Police officer is recovering after she was injured when a motorist struck her patrol car.

Officer Rebecca Seabrook was directing traffic away from flooding on Route 40 onto the Atlantic City Expressway when the crash happened early Wednesday.

Sgt. Monica McMenamin tells The Press of Atlantic City Zachery DeMarco of Millville struck the front fender of the patrol car at a high rate of speed.

Seabrook was treated for head, neck and knee injuries at a hospital.
