Students Receive Reading Help From Americorps

Students at Carrie Downie Elementary School in New Castle, Delaware who are struggling with reading will now get help through a pilot program with Americorps and the Reading Assist Institute. There were 15 newly-pinned Americorps workers, who will work with Colonial School District students, and they hope to expand this program to other school districts in Delaware.
