72-Year-Old Punched, Robbed in Chinese Restaurant

Police are looking for the two men seen in this video in connection with the crime.

Police are searching for the two suspects who robbed and punched 72-year-old Livingston Barker on Friday. Barker was at a Chinese Restaurant on West Chelten Avenue in Germantown when the incident occurred. NBC10’s Deanna Durante spoke to Barker.

Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men caught on surveillance video punching and robbing an elderly man.

The incident happened on Friday around 5:30 p.m. in a Chinese Restaurant on West Chelten Avenue in the Germantown section of the city.

Police say the 72-year-old victim was standing at the counter when two men entered the restaurant. Soon after entering, one of the suspects punched the victim causing him to fall to the ground. While on the ground, one of the men stole the victim's wallet.

Both suspects fled the restaurant on foot.



Investigtors describe the suspects as black males, both 20 years of age. One is described as having a thin build and short hair. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top, blue shorts and blue sneakers. The second also has short hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, light blue shorts and black sneakers.
