3 Hurt in Jersey Shore Boat Wreck

A small boat full of people slammed into a buoy or coastal water marker Sunday afternoon in Egg Harbor Township. Three people were hurt -- a little boy who was airlifted to the hospital and two adults.

In all, seven people were on board the 16-foot boat when it wrecked, nearly ripping off the bow.

The accident happened in the Intracoastal Waterway between the Longport Bridge and Ocean Drive.

The cause of the accident is being investigated.
