Police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed two people at the Vinings at Christiana apartment building late Monday night.
Authorities said two men were fatally shot at an apartment complex in Newark.
New Castle County police said they got a report of shots fired around 7:15 p.m. Monday at the Vinings at Christiana apartments. Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. New Castle County paramedics say the other man was in cardiac arrest when they arrived and was taken to a hospital with CPR in progress. Police say that man died at the hospital.
Officers identified the victims as 32-year-old Brian Eller and 20-year-old Lahmeer Carter, both of New Castle.
Police said the investigation was in the preliminary stages. No suspects were identified.
