14-year-old raises $6,000 to donate to Chester County food bank

A Chester County teenager is starting his philanthropy journey early in life. After 14-year-old Mateo Alban visited his dad’s homeland of Peru and saw the food insecurity problem there, he started volunteering at a local food bank back at home. That’s what inspired him to raise $6,000 to give to the Chester County Food Bank. NBC10’s Karen Hua shares his story.
