The accident happened around 1: 45 a.m. Thursday when two cars collided, leading officials to temporarily close the westbound lanes.
One person suffered minor injuries after two vehicles collided on the Vine Street Expressway in Center City Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
The accident occurred along I-676 near the exit for 22nd Street around 1:45 a.m., officials said.
Authorities closed the highway for a short time after the crash to investigate.
The injured person was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital.
