New guidelines say women should be screened every other year for breast cancer starting at 40

Updated guidelines have been released for the age women should be screened for breast cancer. However, not every doctor is in agreement with the new guidelines. The changes are a result of rising cancer rates for women in their 40s that have risen 2% each year between 2015 and 2019. NBC10’s Karen Hua spoke with an expert on their recommendations.
