Longer Wait for 2nd Vaccine Dose No Cause for Panic, Doctor Says

A slow coronavirus vaccine rollout could mean some people may wait a few weeks longer to get their second dose. However, Dr. Arnold Baskies says, there is some “wiggle room” when it comes to the second dose, meaning a slightly longer wait of up to six weeks between doses shouldn’t affect the vaccine’s effectiveness on the immune system.
