Biden Expands Vaccine Eligibility With Cautious Optimism As COVID-19 Cases Remain High

President Joe Biden praised his administration’s efforts to expand coronavirus vaccine supply and eligibility during a speech on Tuesday, announcing that all American adults will be eligible for the vaccine beginning April 19. The president also implored Americans to remain vigilant as caseloads remain high, saying, “The virus is spreading because there are too many people who see the end in sight and think we’re at the finish line already.
