Delaware Begins to Raise Minimum Wage
After the stroke of a pen, the state of Delaware is now in the process of raising its minimum wage for workers to $15 an hour. A large number of employers in the state already provide wages above the $15 mark, or more. The legislation will take part in stages, gradually increasing the minimum to $15 over the course of a couple of years. NBC10’s Delaware Bureau reporter Tim Furlong speaks with a local employer about the effects that this change might have.
