Emmy-award winning CNN anchor Don Lemon reminisces with Bill Henley about the times he spent as a former NBC10 reporter.

“I just remember just being embraced here,” said Lemon. “I grew up as a newsperson here.”

Lemon opens up about his big announcement to the world on live television and shares insight on his new book “Transparent” that was released on June 16th. The book discusses the challenges Lemon faced going into the broadcasting industry as well as other personal disclosures about his sexuality.

Last month Lemon announced publicly that he is gay and decided to talk about his new book in honor of Gay Pride Month.
