Rose Tree Tavern: Back In Business

The newly renovated Rose Tree Tavern is now open to the public. The building is located in Rose Tree Park where it will house the Brandywine Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Tavern will now serve as a hospitality spot for all residents and visitors. Delaware County Council Chairman Jack Whelan says “If these walls could talk, I’m sure we would hear fascinating stories of local political squabbles, debates over the sale of liquor, and the horseback adventures of fox hunters.” The 200-year-old building has be reconstructed with energy-efficient amenities, with more resources for people to enjoy in their everyday travels. The Tavern will be open weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
