Plan Introduced to end New Jersey Lunch Shaming

Garden State law makers attempt to end “lunch shaming” through the introduction of a series of bills that aim at better notifying families of their children’s lunch debts and connecting them with resources. Children of families who couldn’t afford lunches received tuna sandwiches. That is no longer in effect.
