Nutter Budget Met With ‘Boos' by Philly Union Workers

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter delivered a $3.6 million budget proposal to Philadelphia City Council on Thursday, amid a loud chorus of boos and chants from union members in the audience in Council chambers. They chanted “keep your word,” referencing previous statements by Nutter about negotiating fair contracts for city workers.
