NJ Teens Get Crash Course on Sexting Law

New Jersey’s new sexting law goes into effect on April 1st. Monday night parents and young people attended a conference to learn how to better identify the long term dangers of sending explicit photos on phones or online. They also learned the new law will work to protect young people. Instead of being charged criminally for distribution of child pornography, first time offenders will have to complete an educational program. NBC10’s Cydney Long reports from Sewell, N.J.
