Manna Thanksgiving 2008

In Center City, Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Day, 2008, voluntters for Manna were up at the crack of dawn, cooking and delivering meals to hundreds of families living with life-threatening illnesses.The volunteers and cooks were in the kitchen roasting turkeys and preparing all the trimmings. Every year, Manna holds a Pie in the Sky fundraiser, selling homemade pies, to pay for these Thanksgiving meals.
