Hunter Finds Skeletal Remains in Bucks County

Police say the remains could be that of a person who went missing in 2009

Police say the skeletal remains of a man were found in a wooded area in Bucks County.

A hunter found the remains 30 to 40 feet off Galloway Road in Bensalem around 8:00 p.m. Friday night, according to officials.

An autopsy was performed Sunday to determine the cause of death. Detectives say the male skeleton shows no evidence of any trauma at this point.

The Coroner's office is looking into whether the victim is the same man who went missing in 2009 in the general area.

Police are not releasing the person’s name at this time.
