Police Search Home of Alleged Child Killer

On Wednesday, NYC detectives spent the late afternoon and evening searching the South Jersey home of Pedro Hernadez. A computer hard drive and two laptop style briefcases are among the evidence that detectives seized at the suspected killer’s Maple Shade home. Police say Hernandez, 51, confessed to killing 6-year-old Etan Patz 33 years ago. He allegedly lured the boy with a soda into the New York Bodega where Hernandez worked at the time.
