Chestnut Hill's Fall for Fashion

Part of The Philadelphia Collection's series of city-wide fashion and shopping events, the 8400 block of Chestnut Hill's Germantown Avenue will host a "Fall for Fashion"-themed evening on Friday, September 23. Participating Chestnut Hill shops and art galleries will host special events, like trunk shows, make-up demonstrations, fashion shows, and open houses, while opera singers and jazz musicians entertain passersby outside.

Our picks? Fall fashion shows at El Quetzal and Artisans on the Avenue, plus a jewelry trunk show and free mimosas at Mango. Other must-sees include Bone Appetite's doggie fashion parade, and sneak peeks at Chestnut Hill's newest shops, Hipster Home, The Closet Boutique, and Indigo Schuy.
