Slogan: Principled Leadership for Congress

Biography: At 32, Bryan Leib is running for Congress because he's frustrated with the status quo; "We aren’t going to break through to the next level with the current leadership structure that’s been in play for the last 30-50 years," he says. He describes himself as a problem solver who will work with and welcome anyone into his office if their #1 priority is Philadelphia's future.

On the Issues:

Economy/Jobs
"For all of his adult life Bryan Leib worked in the public sector. In his family's business, he learned the value of hard work, balancing a budget, meeting a payroll, and making tough decisions. He believes that good jobs mean strong communities, and the way to good jobs is through reforming our tax policies, streamlining burdensome regulations, and putting our federal government on a sustainable fiscal path."

Education
"Education is very important in Bryan's family. Bryan believes that an educated and well trained nation is a very powerful nation. Not surprisingly, in the hands of Philadelphia politicians, our city’s public education system is a catastrophe. Run-down schools, horrific drop-out rates, unforgivable national and state rankings, and hard-to-believe budget woes are all a result of fraud, waste, and abuse from our city officials. In Congress, Bryan will propose a bi-partisan resolution to address the skilled labor crisis while helping to break the cycle of poverty by educating our students from low income areas in a different way... Bryan believes that if we can train our students who won’t be attending college to learn how to become a tradesman or a computer coder at 18 years old, then they will learn a valuable trade and quickly be making $50,000 per year with benefits and no student loan debt."

Status Quo and Government Corruption
"Leib firmly believes that government should be in the business of enriching and supporting its people – not bureaucrats in Philadelphia and politicians in Washington, DC. Our great city is high on poverty, high on crime, and low on hope. Philadelphians are tired of their politicians lying to them and putting personal enrichment ahead of serving the public. In Congress, Bryan will write legislation calling for Term Limits in Congress."

Israel
"As a private citizen and in Congress, the State of Israel has and will have no greater friend than Bryan Leib. He sees Iran as a sponsor of global terrorism and intends to continue funding annual security appropriations to Israel to ensure they maintain their military edge in the most unstable region in the world. He thinks the United States and the international community must oppose the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement, as well as shut down Hamas as a terrorist organization."
