Calling All Inventions

You never know what is being discovered everyday. The National Constitution Center was invaded with inventors and their products for Discovery Day. The Lenfest Media Group invited 30 inventors to present their ideas to a panel of judges. “Any good inventor has to have good presentation skills, in terms of being able to pitch their product. A good product will do most of the work. And I think that Lenfest (has) a good eye, and they can see what’s going to work well on television (infomercials),” says DeHaven, a self-employed engineer and handyman who invented the Alligetter, which is the garbage disposal retrieval device. Not only were inventors able to have their products looked at but also got encouragement from past Lenfest inventors who told their success stories.
