Arthur Ashe Makes History

The Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education brings new life to their facility. It “switched on” the new solar power panels that will save them %50 of their energy savings. The money that is saved will be used for other programs that help young people every day. “Our move to solar power will allow us to reallocate precious resources from energy costs to program expansion,” said Kenny Holdsman, AAYTE President.” This Green project will reduce our environmental impact while increasing our ability to help many urban kids at a time when they and their families are counting on us more than ever.” 1,200 panels were installed on the roof of the center which covers 25,000 square feet.
