Andy the Pet Turkey

Andy will be a dinner guest at Thanksgiving rather than the main entree. This turkey is the family pet. Carl Dwyer of Weld County, Colorado, spotted the white bird two years ago when he was driving down a dirt road.Dwyer noticed the turkey had a hurt wing. He took the turkey in, named it Andy and nursed it back to health. Since then, Dwyer, his dogs and their new foul friend have all been buddy-buddy. At Thanksgiving Dinner 2008, Andy the Turkey will be surrounded by love instead of stuffing and cranberry sauce.
