More diversity among recruits in PPD academy following changes to the recruitment policy

In 2020 NBC10 investigators found that while 70% of Philadelphia police recruit applicants were made up of people of color, only a fraction of them were getting in at that time. Since then, new policies have been introduced to eliminate some barriers that denied entry to people of color. NBC10 investigative reporter Claudia Vargas has more on the results of the new policy.
