Empowering Film Based on Benjamin Franklin High School Students Hits Film Center

The Nomads, a film inspired by true life events takes place in North Philly after the Philadelphia school district budget deficit slashed funding for extracurricular activities forcing a teacher to look to rugby to empower Benjamin Franklin High School students. The drama will play for the Philadelphia Film Festival at 8:15 p.m. at the Philadelphia Film Center in Center City.
