Get ready for summer-like temperatures this weekend.
High pressure anchored off the coast will pump up very warm southerly winds and it will keep skies clear, as we go throughout Saturday afternoon.
We started out today with low clouds in some spots and mist. Overnight lows were mainly in the upper 40s and low 50s.
But temperatures will jump quickly to near 80 by noon and 87 by 4 p.m. The record of 92 was set back in 1960.
The heat hangs on through Tuesday, before we return to more normal temperatures.
