A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is effect until 11:00 p.m. for the entire area. Severe Thunderstorm warnings are issued when a storm contains hail 3/4 of an inch and or wind gusts over 57 m.p.h.
A few strong even severe storms are developing across the area Sunday afternoon. These storms will come with hail, gusty wind, and heavy downpours that could result in flash flooding.
Thunderstorms will become more numerous this evening with more warnings likely. These storms are possible across the entire region and will continue through the early part of the evening.
The storms will end later Sunday night but the humidity will remain. Be prepared to seek shelter should a storm approach your area.
