Rain has ended, but patchy areas of fog will form for the overnight hours, especially in NJ and DE. Lows will drop into the middle 30s distant N & W suburbs, low to mid 40s Philadelphia, south Jersey, and Delaware.
Clouds will slowly give way to sunshine Monday. N & W areas see the sunshine first by midday. Clouds slowly collapse at the coast by evening. Highs will reach the middle to upper 50s. Tuesday looks spectacular with abundant sunshine and highs near 60. Clouds return Wednesday with a mild afternoon. Temperatures reach the lower 60s.
All eyes on a potential major east coast storm by the end of the week. All of the computer models show the storm, but the dirt is in the details. The strength, intensity, and track are all important and will determine the storm's impacts to our area. At the very least, expect steady rain on Thursday and Friday with a raw & chilly wind developing. There could also be some coastal flooding at the Jersey Shore. We should have a better idea of the storm's impacts along the coast by Tuesday.
