Oh Snow! Wintry Weather on the Way

After a brief warmup this past week, temperatures across Pennsylvania and New Jersey are cold as we’re gearing up for a wintry mix for Sunday.

Late Sunday morning into early afternoon we will see  snow, sleet and ice with small accumulations across much of Pennsylvania.

The coldest temperatures are expected in suburbs north and west of Philadelphia and those locations have the best chance to see snow and ice accumulation.

It will be a freezing and messy Eagles game
. Temps will stay at freezing the entire  time with chance for wet snow increasing as the game goes on.

Forecasters say snow and sleet should develop throughout New Jersey Sunday afternoon before turning to rain late in the day.

The National Weather Service said Saturday it expects less than an inch of snow to remain on the ground by Monday morning's commute in all but northernmost New Jersey, where up to two inches could still be around.
