The snow and ice didn't hit the entire area like expected but still caused problems Wednesday in parts of Chester county as well as spots north and west of the city.
Temperatures remained above the freezing but heavy rain continued throughout the afternoon causing flooding concerns on streets and roadways in poor drainage areas.
The rain will end Wednesday night as the wind picks up out of the west. Temperatures will begin to drop from the 40s into the 30s but should stay above freezing long enough for the roads to dry out before dropping below the freezing mark.
Expect colder weather with a chilly breeze for the rest of the workweek. There is a chance of a light snow shower mainly Thursday but the showers will be light and should not last long at all.
