NJ Transit Back on Track After Suspicious Package Scare

New Jersey Transit reports that Northeast Corridor service has resumed in both directions between Trenton and New York's Penn Station.

The service had been suspended around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday due to a suspicious package found on an Amtrak train in New Brunswick.

But service resumed about 40 minutes later after the package was inspected and removed.

Further details on the incident have not been disclosed.

NJ Transit says Northeast Corridor riders could face delays of up to an hour in both directions.
