I-95 Traffic Warning

PennDOT suggests to plan around lane restrictions Wednesday & Thursday

Drivers using I-95 be warned -- Wednesday and Thursday could be a headache on the busy highway.

Concrete repair will force three lanes down to one lane at the Bridge Street Interchange in Northeast Philadelphia, PennDOT announced Tuesday.

The construction will take place southbound Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the northbound lanes from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, according to PennDOT.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time during the construction and/or make plans to take an alternate route, PennDOT warned.
