Crash Hurts 4

Four people were hurt in a collision at a busy intersection this morning that may have been caused by a car that wasn't involved.

A white work van and a sports utility vehicle collided at East Boot Road and Greenhill Road in West Goshen Township -- that's right outside the Goshen Fire Company. The force of the wreck knocked the SUV onto its side.

According to Chester County dispatchers four people were hurt including a child who was in a car seat. None of the injuries appeared life-threatening but three people did need hospitalized, according to police.

As SkyForce10 hovered over the scene you could see the damaged work van up on the grass of the fire company while the SUV came to a stop across the intersection.

Traffic around the scene was diverted.

An early investigation of the crash revealed that the van and SUV were headed towards each other along Greenhill road when the vehicles collided. Witnesses told police that a car apparently ran the red light south on Boot Road causing the other cars to crash.

No one was immediately charged.
