A person died after being struck along a busy South Jersey road this morning.
The person was struck along Route 70 near U.S. Route 206 in Southampton Township, N.J. around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
The victim died at the scene. Burlington County dispatchers said the driver stopped after the crash.
The crash closed Route 70 in both directions for about four hours.
Police finally reopened the roadway around 9:30 a.m.
