    Demolition of the Spectrum is coming soon so get your piece of hockey glass memorbilia before its too late.

    Die-hard Philadelphia sports fans have the chance to bring home a piece of Flyers lore.

    Pieces of the hockey glass from the Spectrum will be cut up into pieces for fans to purchase as personal keepsakes. The one of a kind pieces will be divided into 500 8-by-10 mementos that will have autographs of members from the mid-70s Flyers Stanley Cup teams etched into the glass.

    Workers were cutting up the mementos Wednesday.

    Along with the 500 pieces being made, an additional 2,700 portions will be cut into the size of a standard hockey puck that will also be sold by Comcast-Spectacor.

    Some of the proceeds from the purchase of these souvenirs will be donated to the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation.

    These commemorative gifts along with others will be sold on the Remember the Spectrum site.

    Other piece of Spectrum lore up for grabs include chairs, ice coasters and pieces of the basketball court.

     With the demolition of the Spectrum on the horizon, another piece of Philly history is set to take its final bow.
