PBR Lovers: Unite!

Some call it “Peeber,” others “PBR,” and still others, simply “Pabst.”

But no matter what you call it, if you drink it (and we’re pretty sure you do), you’ll want to head to the Independent Craft Market Saturday, for the PBR Craft Fair and Challenge.

Yeah—it’s basically exactly what it sounds like.

Lovers of arts, music and cheap brew will congregate at the 941 Theater (941 N. Front St.) where they can purchase PBR-themed work that includes handmade aprons, socks, and prints—to name just a few.

The winner of the challenge (the best PBR piece) will go home with a fridge full of the iconic red, blue and white cans.

And remember how we said, “music?” Local band The Slideshow Prophets will perform original songs about PBR, paying tribute to the brew the events founder qualified as, “like (Philly’s) breakfast,” to the City Paper.

The $6 entry fee gets all who come to the event unlimited PBR, too. The show runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
