Barneys New York CO-OP opened its doors on Thursday adding to the glitz and glamour of the luxury condo building, 10 Rittenhouse.
The store is located on the first two floors of the legendary Rittenhouse Club.
“The Rittenhouse Club, with its rich history and unique architectural design, is a fantastic venue for Barneys New York CO-OP,” said Robert Ambrosi, partner in the development company, ARCWheeler. “The Barneys brand-name adds a lot of cache to the Philadelphia retail scene, and we are excited to welcome them to 10 Rittenhouse Square.”
Rittenhouse’s newest guilty pleasure will feature designers like Rag and Bone, Alexander Wang, A.L.C., Shipley & Halmos, Band of Outsiders, and Raf by Raf Simons, just to name a few.
The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday’s from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
So, if you can afford Barneys, good for you! And for the rest of us, there’s always window shopping.
