From 4 p.m. ‘til the kegs are empty, both of Philly’s Tria locations will feature Ommegang’s “Obamagang” ale, a rich porter with a splash of cherry beer and dab of chocolate.
But as yummy as the Obamagang ale is, it’s not just the taste and the alcohol content that’ll leave you feeling good—a portion from all sales will go to local charities.
To further emphasize today’s patriotic flavor, Tria’s pairing the drink with an all-American snack plate: Rogue Smokey Blue Cheese, locally produced Fudge from Betty’s Tasty Buttons and Allagash-poached cherries.
Tria Washington Square is located at 1137 Spruce St., and Tria Rittenhouse Square is located at 123 S. 18th St. At both cafés, Obamagang and the All-American Snack Plate will cost $6 each.
