Only a few spots remain for Thursday's blowout at Vetri

As if dining at the best restaurant in Philly isn’t enough, this Thursday the folks at Vetri are hosting a seven-course dinner with world-renowned Alsacian wine-maker Jean Trimbach. If you ever thought Italian food couldn't be paired with French wine, you're about to be proven very, very wrong.

Bottles of Trimbach Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir will be paired with dishes like house-cured charcuterie, almond-dusted sweetbreads, stuffed tagliatelle with foie gras and sweet onions, fazzoletti with duck ragu and black olives, roasted pork loin and olive oil cake.

The evening costs $250 but it’s a small price to pay for what will most definitely be an unforgettable dining experience.
