It's a gorgeous Sunday after days of rain, so go enjoy it down the shore for the last day of Restaurant Week.
Well, there is a better reason. It’s Restaurant Week May 28 to June 7!
A ton of restaurants located at N.J.’s Top Beach are participating. You can chow down on lunch for $10 (tax and tip not included) and bring the kiddies to eat for just $6. You'll get an entree and dessert.
Dinner will run you $20 (drinks, tax and tip not included)—but hey, that’s a good deal for soup or salad, entree and dessert. Just lay off the booze to keep the bill low.
There’s one catch and it’s a good one. You are asked to bring one non-perishable food item per person, like baby food, peanut butter, tuna and applesauce, or donate $1 to help support the local food bank.
So, eat on the cheap, enjoy the beach and help a good cause. Sounds like the perfect weekend.
