Reserve Your Seat at Table 31

If you're like us, spring makes you pretty hungry (but then again so does summer, fall and winter). Let Table 31 satisfy your appetite for delicious dishes and wonderful wines.

Chef /owner Chris Scarduzio presents a Spring Series of exclusive wine dinners. He and the area’s notable wineries have teamed up to feed you as well as introduce you to fine wines.

The Duckhorn Wine Dinner and Five-course Tasting Menu takes place on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. At $135 a person, diners can enjoy a 2007 Sauvignon Blanc paired with sautéed diver sea scallop in shell, peas and Sardinian cous cous in a truffled vermouth sauce.

Perhaps Golden Eye Pinto Noir 2006 is more your speed. Served with a roasted prime and aged NY strip sirloin, Tuscan potatoes and crispy wrapped asparagus and prosciutto, this pairing can't be missed.

For dessert, a 2005 Zin-Cab blend and an apple crostata with vanilla gelato.

The second wine dinner is hosted by Robin Shay from US Allegrini Winery on Thursday, April 23 (price and time are the same). Featured red wines include: Classico DOC, Amarone Classico DOC and Palazzo della Torre.

The series ends on Wednesday, May 6 with a five-course tasting menu and wines from Jordan Winery for $150. The event, hosted by Rob Davis (winemaker), will give patrons a taste of Chardonnay, Cabernet and Jordan Rivera Russe aged since 1983.
