Kick Off Summer with Free Ice Cream!

Beat the heat with Jack & Jill.

Cool down on the first day of summer with a free frozen treat!

Celebrate the official start of summer on June 21 with free ice cream from Jack & Jill.

The company, which was started in 1929 when founder Mickey Schwartz sold ice cream in the streets of Philadelphia, will be handing out free ice cream starting at 11:30 a.m.

You can get your freebie on the lawn of the Independence Visitor Center on 6th and Market Streets or at the entrance doors to the National Constitution Center at 525 Arch Street.

The ice cream give-a-way will go on until 1:30 p.m. or while supplies last. Get there early to ensure your free treat!
